Modularte is a company based in Modena, which since 2013 has been a leader in the production of modular planters without shape constraints. It creates custom-made outdoor furniture with a precise and consistent identity, characterised by concreteness and formal rigor. The simplicity of its basic concept is elaborated through cutting-edge technologies, with one clear goal: to translate the excellence of Italian craftsmanship into innovative solutions with an essential aesthetic.
From a Modena Garage to a 3000m² Headquarters
Modularte began its journey in 2013, born in a garage of about 20 square metres, with all the inconveniences an underground garage can bring — ramps, stairs, gates, doors, and a great deal of effort. By 2017, the company had moved into a small warehouse and started actually producing the pieces gradually introduced into its range, receiving its first orders. Its first trade fairs followed soon after, quickly leading to important results.
In 2021, Modularte made the decision to build a real brand and a new corporate image, laying the foundation for the brand identity it carries today. The following year, results quadrupled and the company moved into its current logistics headquarters, a space of about 3000m², bringing greater production capacity and better use of resources. In 2023, its offices — until then separate from the production department — were brought together under one roof, strengthening the back office, technical office, after-sales and shipping teams. That growth has since given Modularte a real prototyping department, two production lines covering quality and shipping that adjust to market needs, a technical office, a team of highly trained assemblers, after-sales assistance, an IT department, and a showroom of about 400m².
