Ak47 Design – Where Fire Becomes Art
Ak47 Design is an Italian design house that has turned the outdoor fire pit into a genuine work of art. Rooted on the shores of Lake Como since 2007, the brand was born from the vision of curious travellers with a shared passion for art and design, who set out to create furnishing pieces that are as useful as they are extraordinary. For Ak47 Design, fire is not simply a source of warmth — it is a mythological, folktale element, and it is this ancient force that continues to inspire every collection they create.
A Story Born by the Shores of Lake Como
The story of Ak47 Design begins with wanderers rather than engineers. Its founders travelled widely before settling on the shores of Lake Como, carrying with them a fascination for art, design and the elements that have shaped human gatherings since ancient times. Fire, in particular, captured their imagination — powerful and tangible, yet wrapped in myth and folklore. That fascination became the founding idea behind Ak47 Design: to give this timeless element a contemporary form.
Since 2007, Ak47 Design has been exporting Italian beauty and excellence around the world, and has grown into a benchmark for those seeking the very best in outdoor fire pits and garden furnishing. Quality sits at the core of everything the brand creates, a value the founders have never been willing to compromise on as the company has grown.
Where Fire Meets Timeless Italian Design
At Ak47 Design, every fire pit begins as an idea and ends as an authentic, singular object. The founders describe themselves as visionaries and dreamers from the very first sketch, and as practical and exact once it comes to turning that idea into reality. Nothing is left to chance: each piece is the result of a passionate exploration of raw materials, careful design and close attention to detail, bringing together functionality and Made in Italy craftsmanship in equal measure.
What distinguishes an Ak47 Design fire pit is its adaptability. Rather than being tied to a single style or a fixed design code, each piece is created to adapt to its setting, allowing interior designers, architects and homeowners alike to give it new life within their own space. Wherever it is placed, it becomes a hearth in the truest sense — a source of daily serenity and ancient shelter, and a natural gathering point for those drawn to its warmth.
